Azerbaijan`s President receives president of Int'l Cycling Union - PHOTO

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received today president of the International Cycling Union Pat McQuaid.

The Head of State underlined the importance of the international bicycle tour dedicated to memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev. The President stressed the significance of the fact that the tour covers not only capital Baku, but also regions.

Pat McQuaid said today the interest in cycling was increasing in various countries of the world. He added this type of sport is more preferred in solution of such issues as global warming, climate change and protection of environment.

Pat McQuaid stressed the importance of the international bicycle tour in Azerbaijan devoted to memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
