National leader Heydar Aliyev`s anniversary marked in China

Azerbaijan`s Embassy in China has organized an event to mark the 89th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev. The event participants viewed a book exhibition reflecting various moments of Heydar Aliyev`s life. Azerbaijan`s ambassador to China Latif Gandilov spoke about the national leader`s lifetime and activity.

Other speakers noted national leader Heydar Aliyev`s contribution to Azerbaijan`s development, saying his policy is today successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev.

As a result of national leader Heydar Aliyev`s and President Ilham Aliyev`s policy, Azerbaijan became a leading country in the region. Participants also viewed a documentary on the national leader`s life and career.
