89th anniversary of Azerbaijan’s national leader marked abroad

A conference called “Heydar Aliyev`s role in life of Azerbaijani youth” was held in Cairo University, Egypt.

The conference organized at initiative of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization featured demonstration of a film on national leader Heydar Aliyev`s life and activity.

The event brought together Elnur Ismayilov, first secretary of Azerbaijan Embassy in Egypt, Kanan Mammadov, employee of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, Safsari Ahmad al-Guturi, professor of Ain Shams University and others.

The speakers of the conference provided information on national leader Heydar Aliyev`s lifetime and activity, his services to Azerbaijan, development of relations with Egypt and attention and care towards youth and education.

Azerbaijan Embassy in Kuwait organizes a chain of events dedicated to the 89the anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev. An event attended by Azerbaijani living in Kuwait, political and public figures of the country was held by Patriot Friendship Society on Wednesday.

Azerbaijani ambassador Tural Rzayev delivered speech on Heydar Aliyev and his successful continuer President Ilham Aliyev.

A stand dedicated to the memory of the national leader was demonstrated in the foyer of the embassy and participators watched a documentary. Kuwaiti “Al-Rai” newspaper has published Azerbaijani ambassador Tural Rzayev`s article to the effect.

Another event to mark the national leader`s birthday will be organized today in the International TIES Center.

Vinnica State Technical University in Ukraine marked the 89th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev on Wednesday.

Addressing the event attended by teaching staff and students of the higher school, Suleyman Suleymanli and Samir Huseynov updated participants on Azerbaijan`s history, national traditions and flower festival in Baku. The speakers also touched upon Heydar Aliyev`s and Ilham Aliyev`s activities for development of Azerbaijan.

The event also featured popularization of national cuisine, tradition sand customs, culture and music.
