Azerbaijan FM holds meetings in Egypt

Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov who takes part in the ministerial meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) in Egyptian resort town of Sharm al-Sheikh, on May 9 met with Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad Al-Maliki, Iran’s FM Ali Akbar Salehi and Deputy Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Kairat Umarov.

The meetings focused on bilateral relations, regional problems and prospects of cooperation within the international organizations.

On the same day Mammadyarov held meeting with State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Sudan Salah Vanasi. The discussions revolved around issues related to Sudan which are on agenda an UN Security Council.

Here the Azerbaijan’s FM met with Minister of International Relations and Co-operation of the Republic of South Africa Ms. Maite Nkoana-Mashabane, Serbian FM Vuk Jeremi? and Deputy Foreign Minuister of Belarus Sergey Oleynik.

The meetings focused on bilateral relations, regional issues and prospects of cooperation within the international organizations.
