Flower festival starts today in Baku on the occasion of the 89th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev, national leader of Azerbaijan. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva and family members attended the Festival of Flowers.

The head of state was informed that from early morning the city residents have been flocking to the park, decorated with flowers from world countries.

The President and his family members visited the monument of Heydar Aliyev and admired the beauty of the flowers-smothered park. The president and his family members took a photo with the children, who greeted the head of state and his family members.
