'Azerbaijani-Russian relations will develop'

Azerbaijani-Russian relations are working well and the relationship will develop as well now with a new president, Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Vladimir Dorokhin said at the opening of photo exhibition in Baku dedicated to the Great Victory.

"The last thing to worry is Russian-Azerbaijani relations. It is well known that Putin together with Heydar Aliyev stood at the foundation of a new relationship between independent Russia and Azerbaijan," Dorokhin said.

Dorokhin noted that Putin is personally committed to the idea of the relations that exist between the countries.

Vladimir Putin took over as president of Russia on Monday bringing the oath of the Constitution. He became head of the state for the third time, but the first time for six years.
