'EU , USA must bravely and actively support Azerbaijani nation'

The Estonian politician Max Kaur supported the US former ambassador to Azerbaijan, former co-chair of the OSCE Minsk group on resolution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict Matthew Bryza, who considers President Ilham Aliyev as the most popular political figure in Azerbaijan.

Currently, Matthew Bryza leads the International Center of Defense Studies in Estonia. “It is good that many people in Washington began to understand what threats Baku faces and who these people are, who heroically paved the way for Azerbaijan`s future in such difficult conditions. I am sure that the EU and USA must bravely and actively support Azerbaijani nation, especially because Azerbaijan is a member of the UN Security Council,” said the politician.

Mr. Kaur stressed huge efforts of Ilham Aliyev in maintaining the situation in the region, where 20% of territory was occupied and over million of people became refugees. The Former US ambassador to Azerbaijan Matthew Bryza made a speech in Jamestown Foundation in Washington early May.
