Bishkek hosts presentation of Academician Ramiz Mehdiyev`s book

A presentation ceremony of Head of the Presidential Administration, academician Ramiz Mehdiyev`s book “Gorus-2010: absurd theater season” was held at the Kyrgyz National Philharmonic Hall after Toktogul Satylganov in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, on Saturday.

The ceremony, co-organized by the Turkic States Policy Support Foundation and Azerbaijan`s Embassy in Kyrgyzstan, was attended by head of the protocol department of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan Akram Madumarov, well-known scientists, employees of Azerbaijani embassy, diplomats accredited in Bishkek as well as Azerbaijani Diaspora activists and journalists.

Ambassador Arif Aghayev briefed the attendees on the book, which he said plays significant role in study of Azerbaijani history in Kyrgyzstan. He expressed gratitude to chairman of the Turkic States Policy Support Foundation Nusrat Mammadov and translator of the book Mukan Asanaliyev for their contribution to the publication of the book.

Speaking to the event, poet Sooronbay Jusuyev informed the participants on Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh, stressing “Nagorno-Karabakh is Azerbaijan`s territory". He said historically the Armenian state was established in Azerbaijan`s historic lands.
He noted Armenia must unconditionally return Nagorno-Karabakh and other surrounding regions to Azerbaijan.

Addressing the ceremony, academician Askar Kakeyev spoke about Azerbaijan`s rapid economic development, which he said made the country a leading state in the region. He added “all these achievements are possible thanks to Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev`s right internal and foreign policy.”

Chairman of the Turkish State Policy Support Foundation Nusrat Mammadov stressed the role of the book in delivering Azerbaijani truth to Kyrgyz people. The event ended with a concert program.
