Azerbaijani President inspects reconstruction works in Baku - PHOTOS

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today inspected the work to repair a monument to General Hazi Aslanov, redevelop Baku funicular, build Independence museum in the Highland Park and expand the Seaside National Park.

The Head of State was first informed of the work to repair the monument to twice hero of the Soviet Union, General Hazi Aslanov. The President then saw redevelopment activities at the Baku funicular`s Shahidlar Khiyabani and Bahram Gur stations.

President Ilham Aliyev then proceeded to the Highland Park where the Istiglal museum will be built to see the construction progress. The Head of State also inspected the expansion work at the Seaside National Park.
