“Armenian genocide” claims are false and slander, it has no legal basis,” Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Hulusi Kilic told journalists, APA reports.

The ambassador recalled that the prime minister of Turkey offered to Armenia to open archives and to see historical facts correctly: “But Armenians didn’t accept it. Historians must be engaged with history and politicians with politics. We want peace and stability. The world sees everything. Armenians haven’t stopped the occupation of Azerbaijani lands, but everybody keeps silence and we see that double standards are being continued.”
