
A presentation ceremony of an animation entitled “Shattered peace” dedicated to the Khojaly massacre and supported by Azerbaijan Embassy in Germany was held in the Coordination Center of Azerbaijanis in Germany (CCAG).
According to the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, the presentation ceremony was organized in the sidelines of an event dedicated to the creative activity of painter and director, Azerbaijani, living in Berlin Masud Panahi.
Executive director of CCAG Samira Patzer-Ismayilova updated participants on the animation art in Azerbaijan praising Masud Panahi`s works. She also gave information on preparation period of the animation supported by CCAG and the State Committee on Work with Diaspora.
“For the first time the animation was demonstrated in Berlin with support of the Azerbaijan Embassy in the event marking the 20th anniversary of the Khojaly massacre,” she added.
First counsellor of Azerbaijan Embassy in Germany Rizvan Nabiyev provided information on Azerbaijan`s culture and art.
Masud Panahi, in his turn, informed participators on the idea of the film. Along with “Shattered peace” animation, “The Maiden Tower” by Masud Panahi and “Two knights” by his students also were demonstrated in the event.
The presentation ceremony brought together employees of the Azerbaijan Embassy in Berlin and CCAG, representatives of German community, member of Azerbaijani Diaspora there, students and youth.
