23 April 2012 [09:49] - TODAY.AZ
There are foreign forces that are unhappy with Azerbaijan's progress and development, deputy head and executive secretary of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party Ali Ahmadov said at the nationwide meeting of heads of district and city organizations of the ruling party today.

He added that there are circles in the country providing these forces with assistance.
Ahmadov stressed that the Azerbaijani people categorically condemn the anti-Azerbaijani activity of these forces, the official website of the Azerbaijani ruling party said.

Moreover, Ahmadov said that the Azerbaijani ruling party and its local bodies have important tasks in connection with the amendments to the Law on "Political parties" adopted by the Azerbaijani Parliament.

He stressed that the business strategy, aimed at the implementation of these tasks must be determined.

Ahmadov said that the current policy has significantly strengthened Azerbaijan's position in international arena. He stressed that the Azerbaijani ruling party, including its members and local bodies played their role in these achievements. Ahmadov mentioned the fact that 25,000-30,000 people join the ruling party each year.

"This fact confirms the support rendered by the population to our party and its chairman - Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. At present, the ruling party brings together more than 560,000 people. This stipulates the fact that the number of party members will hit 600,000 people in the near future."
