Azerbaijan's Border Service inspects new military equipment - UPDATE - PHOTOS

The inspection of new military equipment such as an armored personnel carrier Cobra, special vehicles Land Rover Defender 110 and helicopters MI-35, MI-17 and MI-8 was held at a State Border Service (SBS) military unit in Sangachal.

The head of the SBS Elchin Guliyev and First Deputy Prime Minister Yagub Eyubov participated in the inspection.

Information about the tactical and technical capabilities of helicopters and armored vehicles was provided. Helicopters have extensive opportunity to perform a variety of combat missions, and equipped with modern weapons.

Then demonstration flights of helicopter were held. Various maneuvers in the air were carried out and the aerobatic maneuvers were demonstrated during the flight.

Elchin Guliyev gave some instructions on further implementation of the goals at the highest level, effective use of new technology. Guliyev thanked the staff who showed their professionalism during a demonstration flight of MI-35 helicopters.
