"Ukraine's position on Karabakh conflict remains unchanged'

Ukraine has aimed to make every effort in order to move the process of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict from the formal position during its upcoming presidency of the OSCE, chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament Vladimir Litvin, who is in Baku on an official visit, said on Thursday.

Litvin said Ukraine currently is preparing for its chairmanship of the OSCE in 2014.

"Ukraine's position on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict remains unchanged. We are in a position of respect to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan within its internationally recognised borders and continue to insist that the conflict should be resolved peacefully," Litvin said.
