ISAF commanders praise Azerbaijani peacekeepers' duty

ISAF commanders appreciated the level of training of Azerbaijani peacekeepers serving in Afghanistan, told Trend Azerbaijani Embassy in Pakistan and Afghanistan.

On Wednesday, the ambassador of Azerbaijan in the two countries Dashgin Shikarov visited the Azerbaijani peacekeepers in Kabul. During meetings with staff, he inquired about their situation in light of recent armed clashes which took place in Afghanistan. The militaries said that despite the fact that terrorist attacks took place near the location of the Azerbaijani peacekeepers, our soldiers have not suffered, and none of them did participate in hostilities.

Shikarov also met with the commanders of the ISAF international peacekeeping forces, who noted the high level of training of Azerbaijani military personnel, as well as the performance of all tasks.

The Ambassador also visited the living conditions of our soldiers, visited the training camp and the soldiers' dining room. He also left a note in the visitors' book in the museum of Heydar Aliyev, created by the peacekeepers in a military town.
