Conference on Azerbaijan-Turkey ties in due Baku

A conference has been held today here on “Today and future of Azerbaijan-Turkey relationship: the place and role of NGOs and “think tanks” in development of it”. The conference, devoted to establishment of the 20th anniversary of Azerbaijan-Turkey relations, brought together Azerbaijani and Turkish MPs, representatives of NGOs and journalists.

Member of the working group on Azerbaijan-Turkey interparliamentary ties, Ganira Pashayeva stressed the necessity of expansion of cooperation between NGOs of Azerbaijan and Turkey.
Pashayeva also touched on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, describing it the problem of not only Azerbaijan, but also the Turkic world.

Speaking at the event member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, chairman of the Cooperation Circle of Eurasia Non-Government Organizations, Ismail Safi praised the current state of relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey.
