IDEA campaign founder Leyla Aliyeva receives Special Int'l Honorary Award for environmental protection

Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder of International Dialogue on Environmental Action campaign Leyla Aliyeva has received Special International Honorary Award for Environmental Protection at the 6th International Environmental Project Olympiad (Inepo-Euroasia) which was held on April 6-7 in Baku.

The Olympiad was organized by Azerbaijan`s ministries of Education, Ecology and Natural Resources, State Oil Company (SOCAR), Cag Ogretim Isletmeleri and “Inepo-Eurasia” companies.

The INEPO contest ultimately aims to motivate students to be aware of the global environment, proactively work to maintain its health and viability, improve environmental consciousness, involve youth in environmental projects.

The INEPO brought together more than 400 students from the 42 countries of the world this year including Azerbaijan, Turkey, Georgia, Indonesia, Lithuania, Thailand, Laos, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, United Kingdom, Russia, Poland, Ukraine, Turkmenistan, Romania, Afghanistan, Albania, Bangladesh, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Macedonia, Myanmar, Nigeria, Slovakia, Tajikistan, Vietnam, Yemen, Somali, Angola, Bulgaria, Zambia, Niger, Turkish Republic Of Northern Cyprus, Egypt, Mongolia, Mozambique, Czech Republic and Belgium.
