'Azerbaijan- Georgia ties successfully develop'

A chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov met with Georgian ambassador to Azerbaijan Teymuraz Sharashenidze.

Mr. Talibov said relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia were successfully developing. The chairman stressed the historical merit of national leader Heydar Aliyev in expanding relations between the two states. Mr. Talibov noted implementation of the large-scale projects in all sectors gave impetus to widening of economic relations.

He recalled on his three-day visit to Adjara Autonomous Republic of Georgia. The chairman said a visit of Adjaran delegation to Nakhchivan is also scheduled. Such visits are very significant for deepening of the relations.

The Georgian ambassador said it was his first visit to Nakhchivan, the motherland of national leader Heydar Aliyev. Mr. Sharashenidze praised social and economic development of the Autonomous Republic. He hailed visit of the Chairman of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic to Adjara. The ambassador said he would do all the best to develop relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia even more.
