Presentation on Azerbaijan in due Brussels

Head of Azerbaijan`s Mission to NATO, Ambassador Khazar Ibrahim has made a presentation on the country at the American Club of Brussels.

The presentation, titled “Azerbaijan: The Bridge between the West and the East”, was attended by members of the Club`s Management Board, as well as representatives from several countries, including the US, Germany, Belgium, Ireland, Canada and Lithuania and other countries.

The Ambassador highlighted a wide range of issues, including Azerbaijan`s history, geo-strategic position, foreign policy, hydrocarbon resources, energy security, and Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Ibrahim emphasized Azerbaijan`s foreign relations and the country`s role in terms of transportation and transit.

The American Club of Brussels was founded on January 15, 1921, making it one of the oldest American clubs in the world. Since then the club has had a long history of involvement in the local community and in support of Belgian-American relations.
