Azerbaijan, Jordan mull coop

Azerbaijani Ambassador to Jordan Elman Arasli met on Tuesday first deputy chairman of the Jordanian Upper House of Parliament Abdel Raouf al-Rawabdeh. According to the Azerbaijani embassy in Jordan, the sides discussed the prospects for cooperation between Azerbaijani and Jordanian Parliaments, visit of the senate delegation led by Abdel Raouf al-Rawabdeh scheduled for April.

Abdel Raouf al-Rawabdeh expressed his assurance on development of cooperation between the legislative bodies of both countries. The Jordanian deputy chairman was updated on Azerbaijan, its history of parliamentarism, the role of the Parliament in the socio-political life.
