
Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Artur Rasizade yesterday met the Lithuanian delegation led by Foreign Minister Audronius Ažubalis. During the conversation Rasizade pointed out relations between the two countries develop steadily, expressing assurance such visits would contribute to further expansion of bilateral ties. Azerbaijani Premier also wished success to the meeting of the Azerbaijan-Lithuania intergovernmental commission on bilateral cooperation.
For his part, Lithuanian foreign minister stressed that his country pays great importance to the relations with Azerbaijan in all fields, especially in the field of energy. Thus, today Lithuania is conducting negotiations with the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ). He also expressed confidence on further strengthening of ties.
