President Ilham Aliyev offers condolences to Russian counterpart

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a message of condolence to the Russian leader Dmitry Medvedev after a plane crash killed dozens near the city of Tyumen.

“The news of heavy human loss caused by a plane crash near Tyumen has been a source of great sorrow to me,” the Azerbaijani leader said in his message. “On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own behalf, I offer sincere condolences to you, families and relatives of the dead and all the people of Russia.”
