Memorial of Azerbaijani genocide victims maybe established

The initiative of creating a museum complex or memorial dedicated to the Azerbaijani genocide victims has been made. This issue is being discussed in the Presidential Administration and the relevant agencies, Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Social and Political Department Chief Ali Hasanov told media on Thursday.

"The decision has not been made yet," he said. "We think that the creation of such a complex is important in terms of forming national memory, creating a connection between historical past, present and future. The establishment of this museum will be significant in the context of shaping public opinion about the genocide of Azerbaijanis."
