'Opposition depends on weather'

The activities of the so-called Public Chamber depend on the weather, ruling party New Azerbaijan Party official, MP Siyavush Novruzov told Trend on Tuesday, expressing his attitude toward a planned rally.

"That is, when it's cold, they're gathering in their headquarters, and when it's warm - they think about rallies. Probably to secure a summer vacation due to funds coming from abroad, they think of rallies," Novruzov said.

He said the Public Chamber has neither a social base nor an electorate and so there can be no question of a rally. The rally is set for April 8.
