The Armenian ruling party’s intentions to buy votes in Armenia are flagrant violations of the election rules, member of the Azerbaijani Committee on International and Interparliamentary Relations Asim Mollazade said, while commenting on the Armenian media reports that the ruling Republican Party offers a bribe for voters to vote in parliamentary elections.
The situation in Armenia is far from democracy, so holding of the parliamentary elections based on democratic principles is impossible. "But even for a country such as Armenia, such actions are unacceptable and violation of election laws," he noted.
"The Armenian leadership is ready for any action against its own people. Therefore, I believe that the elections in Armenia will be held at gunpoint. The ruling criminal clan of Armenia uses all its resources in order not to release the power from the hands and keep the parliamentary majority,” Mollazade said.
