Staff of abolished military commissariats sent to disposal

All employees of the former military commissariats are at disposal in Azerbaijan, the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription reported. Chief of the service Lieutenant-General Arzu Rahimov sent former regional military commissioners and all employees of commissariats to the disposal.

New staff will be confirmed till April 13. Then a part of employees of former commissariats will be reemployed in the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription. The other persons will be offered to work in the military service. Thought the term of confirmation of new staff expires on April 13, as the April is a month of call-up, this process will be finished till the end of March.

On February 13, President Ilham Aliyev has issued a decree on application of the law on “Military job and military service”. Under the decree, the Military Commissariat of Azerbaijan Republic, Military Commissariat of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, military commissariats of regions and cities subordinated to the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan Republic have been abolished, State Service for Mobilization and Conscription of Azerbaijan Republic has been established.

President Ilham Aliyev has also appointed Arzu Rahimov as chief of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription of Azerbaijan Republic. Arzu Rahimov had been chief of the State Migration Service of Azerbaijan Republic.
