Azerbaijani, Italian ruling parties mull coop

A delegation headed by ruling Yeni Azerbaijan Party (NAP) Deputy Chairman Ali Ahmedov is on a visit to Italy. The delegation is in Italy upon the invitation of former Italian Pime Minister Silvio Berlusconi.

During the visit, Akhmedov met with the head of the Popolo della Liberta party, a leading party in the European People's Party (EPP), Silvio Berlusconi in Milan. During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the relations between Azerbaijan and Italy, and also discussed bilateral ties between the NAP and Popolo della Liberta.
