'Azerbaijan and Iran lack any misunderstanding'

Deputy Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Iran discussed the note and there is no misunderstanding between the two countries, the Iranian ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohammed Baqir Bahrami told journalists on Friday.

Bahrami said the issue of the note was discussed by Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Khalaf Khalafov and Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran Abbas Irakchy. The Iranian Deputy Minister has been invited to Azerbaijan during the discussions. Irakchy will visit Azerbaijan and discussions will continue after about a month.

A trilateral meeting of foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Iran and Turkey was very important in terms of both regional and international affairs, Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohammed Baqir Bahrami told reporters on Friday.

Bahrami noted that the support of the trilateral meeting by Azerbaijan, Turkey and Iran is important in terms of relations between the three countries.

Three fraternal Muslim countries play an important role in global processes, he said.
"Development of Iran, Turkey and Azerbaijan can have a significant impact at the international level. Some bilateral issues were discussed at a trilateral meeting," Bahrami said.

Meeting of foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Iran, Elmar Mammadyarov, Ahmet Davutoglu, and Ali Akbar Salehi, which ended with the adoption of the final document - Declaration, was held in Nakhchivan on Wednesday.
