Venezuela to open embassy in Baku

Venezuela will open a diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan. The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry has received information that the Venezuelan government intends to open a diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan at the level of a charge d'affaires in Azerbaijan, the ministry's press service said on Tuesday.

Relations between Azerbaijan and the countries of Latin America are on the rise. Azerbaijan first opened its embassy in this continent in 2010 in Argentina. During his recent visit to Baku the Argentinian FM also expressed intention of his government to open an embassy in Azerbaijan.
