EU says not all countries get ready for negotiations like Azerbaijan

Progress was achieved in the first round of negotiations on visa facilitation between Azerbaijan and European Union and readmission agreements which were held in Baku, said Head of EU representation in Azerbaijan Roland Kobia at the press-conference today.

He noted that Baku was already for negotiations and said that the opinion was taken before the discussions from Azerbaijani government on several documents: “Not all countries get ready for negotiations like Azerbaijan”.

Kobia said that it was impossible to express concrete opinion on the date of the end of the process: “Most of all it depends on political will. But I can say that Azerbaijani government approaches to this issue with great attention and initiative”.
