SAR seeks to study Azerbaijan’s experience in energy sector

Ambassador of Azerbaijan to the Republic of South Africa Ekhan Polukhov met with South African energy minister Elizabeth Dipuo Peters on Tuesday. The minister congratulated Polukhov on the opening of the Azerbaijan embassy in the South African Republic. The sides discussed

development of relations between two countries with talks expectedly focusing on energy sector.
The ambassador Polukhov said Azerbaijan’s modern energy infrastructure, coupled with vast energy resources, had transformed Azerbaijan into an energy hub of international importance. The ambassador stressed an importance of the establishment of ties between the Azerbaijan’s ministry of industry and energy and South African energy ministry. The minister Elizabeth Dipuo Peters stressed the South African Republic is interested in studying Azerbaijan’s experience in energy sector.
