No need for militarization of Caspian Sea

The Caspian Sea is an inland, so that the Caspian countries can fully control its security. The militarization of the Caspian Sea does not benefit anyone and is associated with extra costs, the head of Institute for Political and International Studies under the Iranian Foreign Ministry Mostafa Dolatyar told.

The Caspian Sea is the sea of peace and stability, and it is not necessary to allocate funds for its militarization, Dolatyar said. If the Caspian countries cooperate, it will be easy to ensure the safety of the sea, Dolatyar added.
