President Ilham Aliyev helds series of meetings - UPDATE - PHOTOS

Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev has today received former Prime Minister of Malaysia Mahathir Mohamad. During the meeting, they noted Azerbaijan and Malaysia have good opportunities to develop bilateral relations, including economic cooperation.

They exchanged views on expansion of cooperation even more. President Ilham Aliyev and Mahathir Mohamad stressed the importance of the third Think Tanks Forum of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Countries in Baku.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on Friday met with Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Emir of the State of Qatar, who arrived in Baku today with a working visit.

The meeting focused on cooperation between Azerbaijan and Qatar in various areas, cooperation within the international organizations and joint economic initiatives.

The sides underlined existence of `good` relations between Azerbaijan and Argentina, importance of cooperation within international organizations, and existence of `good` opportunities for development of bilateral ties in the fields of energy, tourism, agriculture and others.
