Science Development Foundation marks Khojaly Genocide

The Science Development Foundation under the President of Azerbaijan held a ceremony on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Khojaly Genocide. A message of President Ilham Aliyev to the people of Azerbaijan on Khojaly Genocide was again read out.

Executive director of the foundation Elchin Babayev said the world community must give political assessment to the Khojaly genocide. Director of the Institute of History of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) Yagub Mahmudov said these tragedies have long history and have been continued against Azerbaijan for centuries. Professor Valeh Bakhshaliyev said the Khojaly genocide is one of the terrible tragedies in the world. The participants watched a documentary on Khojaly genocide.
