Azerbaijan, Turkey discuss judicial cooperation

Azerbaijani Justice Minister Fikrat Mammadov has today met visiting Turkish Minister of Internal Affairs Idris Naim Sahin. Mammadov hailed development of friendly and partnership relations between the two countries in all fields, including in legal sphere.

The Azeri Minister stressed the necessity of strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries` judicial bodies. He also underlined the importance of reciprocal visits of justice ministers and fruitful cooperation of the two countries` justice academies.

Mammadov also briefed Naim Sahin on the ongoing legal reforms and achievements in Azerbaijan under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev. The Turkish Minister said fraternal relations between the two countries` peoples were dynamically developing. He also praised Azerbaijan`s achievements.

Naim Sahin stressed the importance of deepening legal cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey even more. The Turkish Minister viewed the Justice History Museum at the Ministry.
