
Azerbaijan`s Embassy in the South African Republic has organized an exhibition about the country in the University of Pretoria. The photo exhibition demonstrates the history and contemporary image of Azerbaijan, capital Baku, 20 January tragedy, Armenian aggression and its implications.
The exposition also included the books in English, featuring the tragedy of 20 January, Khojaly genocide, Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno Karabakh, political system in Azerbaijan and national souvenirs. The publications of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation occupied a special place in the exhibition.
Magazines about Azerbaijan, photo, maps, materials about history and tourism are featured in a separate stand. Monitors demonstrating films about Azerbaijan are also set in the exhibition. Under the agreements with the university leadership, the exhibition will last for two weeks and upon its completion the books and additional materials demonstrated in the exhibition will be handed to the university library.
