Azerbaijani FM holds bilateral meetings at G20

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov as a part of his participation at an informal meeting of foreign ministers of the G20 in Mexico held a series of bilateral meetings with heads of delegations - meeting participants, the country's Foreign Ministry said.

Mr Mammadyarov's meeting with Italy's Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Marta Dassu discussed prospects of cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the energy sector.

He also met with U.S. State Department's special envoy on energy issues Richard Morningstar. The sides discussed state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in political, economic and energy spheres.

Azerbaijan and Spain intend to develop cooperation in such spheres as energy, tourism and trade. This agreement was reached at Mammadyarov's meeting with his Spanish counterpart Jose Manuel Garcia-Margallo.
