Jordan- Azerbaijan relations hailed

Speaker of the Lower House of Jordanian Parliament Abdul Karim Dughmi discussed with Azerbaijani Ambassador to Jordan Elman Arasli means of forging closer parliamentary and economic cooperation between the two countries on Monday, Petra Iordanian news agency reported today.

Mr Dughmi hailed relations between Jordan and Azerbaijan, stressing the need to build on these relations, mainly in parliamentary and economic fields.

The sides also discussed the current situation in the Middle East as well as issues of common interest. The Azerbaijani ambassador stressed the need to boost relations between the two countries, exchange expertise and set up joint economic projects.
