President Ilham Aliyev receives outgoing Uzbek ambassador - PHOTO

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received ambassador of Uzbekistan Ismatilla Ergashev who has completed his diplomatic mission in the country.

Uzbek ambassador Ismatilla Ergashev said that his diplomatic mission was successful in Azerbaijan. The Ambassador thanked the Azerbaijani government and President Ilham Aliyev for the fruitful conditions created for the embassy`s activity.

The Head of State stressed the historical relations based on friendship and fraternity between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. The Azerbaijani leader thanked the outgoing Uzbek ambassador for his contribution to the development of bilateral ties, and wished him successes in his further activities.
