Mexican newspaper publishes article on Azerbaijan

The Mexico-based “The News” newspaper has published an article on relationship between Azerbaijan and Mexico. The author says the first Azerbaijani Embassy in Latin America, which opened in Mexico, attaches importance to bilateral relations with this country. The article highlights reciprocal visits of top Azerbaijani and Mexican officials, documents signed between the two countries` governments and cultural events.

The article also features the resolutions adopted by the Mexican Senate and Chamber of Deputies condemning Armenia`s military aggression against Azerbaijan and Khojaly genocide. “These documents demand that Armenia must honor the UN Security Council`s resolutions and leave the occupied territories of Azerbaijan. They also say in the wake of Armenia`s military aggression, more than 600 innocent people were subjected to ethnic cleansing in Khojaly and a genocide was committed in this town.”
