President Ilham Aliyev approves MoU between Azerbaijan and Qatar

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree approving “The Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in exchange of news between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State of Qatar”, which was inked on November 29, 2011 in Baku.

The document envisages exchange of news between the State Telegraph Agency of Azerbaijan (AzerTAc) and Qatar News Agency (QNA). The Memorandum will see the two agencies boost the news, photo, experience and journalist exchange, and develop their cooperation within international and regional news alliances in accordance with the two countries` national legislations. The Memorandum will play important role in deepening the two countries` cooperation in the field of information even more.
