French senators to visit Azerbaijan

A French delegation,including the senators who have applied to the Constitutional Council with a request to revoke a law criminalizing denial of the "genocide", will visit Azerbaijan at the invitation of the State Committee on Diaspora on February 5, the press service of the committee told Trend.

The delegation included Senators Nathalie Goulet, Sylvia Goy-Chavent, Jean-Marie Bockel, Herve Maurey, Andre Reichardt, Jeanny Lorgeoux.

The French Senators will hold meetings in the Parliament of Azerbaijan, in a number of ministries and will meet with refugees and internally displaced people and learn about their living conditions during the visit. The visit of French Senate delegation to Azerbaijan will last until February 10.
