Azerbaijan severely protests French Senate's decision

After the meeting with his colleague from Azerbaijan Abulfaz Garayev, Turkey`s Minister of Culture and Tourism Ertogrul Gunay has answered the questions of journalists. Ertogrul Gunay said that “Azerbaijan is one of the countries most severely protesting the Senate of France for the bill penalizing negation of the so-called “Armenian genocide”.

The Turkish minister noted that Azerbaijan has protested the notorious decision at the highest level. The men of art of the fraternal country have also expressed their support for Turkey.
Minister of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan Abulfaz Garayev has called the decision of the French Senate as “erroneous”, stressing that “Azerbaijan is always beside fraternal Turkey”.

The two ministers said the relations, including the cultural ones, between Turkey and Azerbaijan are at high level and will widen even much in the years to come.
