A couple were stunned when they realised their daughter had been born at 8.10pm on October 20, 2010 – or 20.10, 20/10, 2010. Katie Lassam and husband Simon, both 32, said it’s the ‘perfect date’ for little Lucy. Video editor Katie noticed the time and date on the digital clock and as the birth drew closer and yelled 'I'm going to go for it'.
Little Lucy popped into the world at 8.10pm - making it a unique date that will never come round again. Katie, from Aston, near Witney, Oxon., described the birth at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford was 'incredible'.
She said: 'Hitting the nail on the head with the timing of Lucy's birth is quite incredible really.
'The chances of her being born at the time are just astronomically high. We couldn't have done it if we'd tried.
'She's the perfect date. What a way to make an entrance into the world." The couple have another daughter, Emma, who is two and-a-half years old.
Simon added: 'We say that Katie is perfect because she was born at an incredible time that doesn't come along too often.'
