An exhibition of prints Seeing in Colour from the British Council Collection, from the 1960s to the present day will take place in Baku. Visitors will have a chance to view contemporary pieces by some of UK's leading artists such as Damien Hirst, Alan Davie, Patrick Caulfield, Paul Huxley, Patrick Heron, alongside with works by Eduardo Paolozzi and John Hoyland.
On 22- 24 November 2010 Azerbaijani young artists will have an exciting chance to participate in creative workshops organized by the British Council and run by Clare Mitten, a UK artist at the Academy of Fine Arts.
Students from the Arts Academy will have a unique opportunity to explore the works in the exhibition and translate them into a three-dimensional construction.
