Kara Karayev's music to be played in Tbilisi

In the Great Hall of the Tbilisi Conservatory today will take a place concert of Tbilisi Opera and Ballet orchestra under Vakhtang Machavariani. This concert is supported by the Ministry of Culture of Georgia.

The program includes works by Alex Machavariani and Kara Karayev. As Machavariani noted, he is very close to Karayev's music , which he chose for the concert.

In particular, it will be full of "Festive Overture", second suite from the ballet "Othello" by Machavariani and a suite from the ballet "Path of Thunder" by famous Azerbaijani composer.
