Azerbaijani ballet to be staged in Moscow

Azeri ballet “Seven Beauties” by prominent Azeri composer Gara Garayev based on Nizami Ganjavi`s famous poem will be staged in the Moscow Bolshoi Theatre.

Azeri ballet masters are going to perform on the stage of Bolshoi Theatre for the fourth time.

The choreographer of ballet is Vasili Medvedyev, the conductor is a bandmaster of the Istanbul State Theater of Opera and Ballet Elshad Bagirov and production designer is Dmitri Cherbadji.

Russian ballet star Mikhail Labukhin has been invited to play the leading part of Shah Bahram and the leading role of the First Beauty will still be performed by prime-ballerina, honored artist of Azerbaijan Kamilla Huseynova.
