Famous French actor Gerard Depardieu to perform in Baku

Renowned French actor Gerard Depardieu will soon trip to Baku. On December 13, the French actor will perform for Baku audience in “Carmen” play and will also read excerpts from "Carmen" by Prosper Merimee in the State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater.
 
The upcoming play will be on display as part of the IV International Festival of Rostropovich with soloists of the Opera Center Galina Vishnevskaya.

The main roles in the play are performed by famous singers, winners of international competitions Alina Shakirov (Carmen), Oleg Dolgov (Don José), Anastasia Privoznova (Michaella Party), as well as soloist of the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre of Russia Elchin Azizov (Party Escamillo).
