Turkey hosts Azerbaijani mugham concerts

A series of concerts titled "The Storm of Azerbaijan Mugham" kicked off in the cities of Igdir and Kars, Turkey. The mugham evenings featured Ravana Arabova from Azerbaijan and Nasir Atapur from Tabriz. They performed old Azeri mughams.

The representatives of Azerbaijan Consulate General in Kars, local authorities of Kars and Igdir attended the concert. The mugham evenings will take place also in Amasya, Ankara and Izmir.

The final concert will be held on September 21st in Istanbul. The concerts are broadcast live on the internet.
