"Avatar" star: I can't live without sex

In her cover story for Essence magazine, the 31-year-old "Avatar" star raves about the wonders of getting it on.

"Love it, love it, love it – can't live without it! I love sex," she says. "I love skin. I don't believe the body is something to hide."

Saldana says sex is something to discuss and learn about, even from a young age.

"I think in American society, we're messing up our kids by taking away the education on awareness of sexuality and replacing it with violence, guns and video games," she says. "We're breeding little criminals."

And lucky for her boyfriend of 10 years, actor Keith Britton, Saldana hopes to do more than just talk about sex this year.

She recently told the April issue of Glamour magazine that she wants to "have more sex, travel more, drink more wine and love life."

Of course, that's easier said than done for a rising star.

The busy actress will have to squeeze those goals in between the press tours and premieres lined up for her upcoming films, "Takers," "Death at a Funeral," "The Losers" and "Burning Palms."

She lamented to Glamour, "More work, less time to live."
